Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo
Arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you. From the airport you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Overnight: Cairo (No Meals)
Day 2: Cairo - Pyramids and Museum tour
After breakfast, check out it's a time to enjoy our sightseeing journey. Visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx that large statue which is one of the most famous monuments in the whole world (including Camel ride for 20 minutes). Lunch at a first class restaurant in the Pyramids area. Afternoon visit to the Egyptian Museum where you find the greatest Collections of Egyptian antiquities in the world and the Home of King TUT treasures. And Khan El-khalili bazaar. Back to the hotel. Day 3: Cairo-Luxor
In the morning, transfer to Cairo airport to fly to Luxor, where you'll board your luxurious cruise ship comfortably in time for lunch at 1pm. In the afternoon, explore highlights of Luxor's bustling East Bank: the vast complex of Karnak Temple, and the almost equally mighty Temple of Luxor. By 5:30pm you'll be back on board for afternoon tea, followed by a belly dance show at 7:30pm, and dinner. (B,L D)
Day 4: Nile Cruise Luxor-Esna
The day begins with an early breakfast before you depart for Luxor's West Bank at 7am to visit the Valley of the Kings, where Theban royalty were buried in brilliant coloured tombs. (Please note there is an extra charge for admission to some tombs.) You'll drive to the vast, cliff-cut Temple of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who portrayed herself as a man. At 11am, set sail for your next stop, Esna, where you'll enjoy lunch, afternoon tea, a welcome cocktail party, dinner, and a disco. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Nile Cruise Esna - Kom Ombo
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast any time before 10am, as your ship sails the tranquil Nile to Edfu: you'll disembark at noon to explore the massive facade and echoing halls of the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus. At 2:30pm, enjoy a late lunch and the leisurely cruise to Kom Ombo. Afternoon tea is at 5pm, followed by dinner at 8pm. After dinner, enjoy a Nile cruise classic: the galabeya party, where everyone dons traditional Egyptian galabeya gowns. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Nile Cruise Kom Ombo - Aswan
The last full day of your cruise is action-packed, beginning with a 6am wakeup call for breakfast, and a 7am tour of Kom Ombo temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. By 8am, you're back on board for the journey to Aswan, the tranquil Nile-side city that's the capital of Nubian culture. After an early lunch, disembark at 1:30pm for a tour of Aswan's highlights: the High Dam that stopped the Nile flooding, the granite quarries with their Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Philae on an island in the Nile. Afternoon tea is at 5pm, with dinner at 7:30pm. After dinner, immerse in Nubian culture with a Nubian folklore show. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Aswan - Cairo
Your wakeup call is at 7am. Then, you'll disembark at 8am and transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo, where you'll have the day at leisure to explore the city or relax in your hotel. Should you wish, an optional extra is a day trip to the rock-cut temples built by Ramses II at Abu Simbel, around 185 miles (300 kilometers) south of Aswan: transport is by domestic flight with air-conditioned private transfers and personal guide. Whichever option you choose, you'll stay overnight in Cairo (B)
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast at your hotel, an assistant will transfer you to the airport in a cool, air-conditioned town car and help you with your luggage until you pass security, en route to your international flight. (B)
