Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive in Cairo, meet and assist. Transfer your hotel in Cairo for a 2-night stay.
Day 2: Pyramids tour
Excursion to the necropolis at Sakkara to see the world’s oldest step pyramid. After lunch at Marriott Mena House 139 restaurant “at your own cost”, continue to the Great Pyramids, camel ride, and see the Great Sphinx.

Day 3: Flight to Luxor – Nile Cruise Ship
Flight from Cairo to Luxor. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your cruise boat.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings
Cross over to the West Bank of the Nile for the first excursion, The Valley of the Kings. From here visit the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut. Visit Colossi of Memnon. Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo
Early morning visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. The cruise continues upstream to Kom Ombo where there is a late afternoon visit to the Ptolemic Temple dedicated to the gods Haroeris and Sobek. Afterwards still sailing upstream the boat will arrive in Aswan where you will remain for two nights.

Day 6: Aswan
Visit to the High Dam, the Old Granite Quarries, the Unfinished Obelisk and then by boat to the Temple of Philae. lunch board a Felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat for your included cruise down the Nile and around the picturesque Kitchener Island before returning for dinner.

Day 7: Abu Simbel
The morning can be spent at leisure to roam Aswan some more or alternatively, join the optional excursion to Abu Simbel to see the four colossal statues of Ramses II, the excursion is available by coach or by air In the afternoon an optional bird-watching excursion and a visit to a Nubian house can be arranged.

Day 8: Nile River
Today we enjoy a quieter day sailing downstream along the Nile before arriving late evening in Esna. During this pleasant journey you can choose to take a dip in the pool, catch up on some reading or simply enjoy the view.

Day 9: Luxor Temples
Sailing from Esna to Luxor arriving at lunchtime. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. In the evening there is an optional excursion to the exhilarating Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.

Day 10: Flight to Cairo – Cairo City tour
Transfer to Luxor airport, flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival meet your tour guide to visit the Citadel and Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Then tour the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and visit the famous gallery displaying the riches of King Tutankhamen. After lunch at Nagib Mahfouz restaurant inside Khan El Khalili souk “at your own cost”, transfer to your hotel, Check in for 2 Night stay;

Day 11: Cairo Islamic tour
Explore the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, built in AD 1356 and among the finest examples of early Mamluk architecture. Next, walk from the twin-towered Bab el-Foutouh, a fortified gate in Cairo’s Old City walls, to Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the city’s major souks (open-air marketplaces). Browse the tightly packed stalls displaying everything from spices and leather goods to jewelry and vegetables, all on a street that has hardly changed for centuries. Then a visit to Coptic Cairo, back to the hotel

Proceed to the airport for your return flight. Or, extend your journey for 4 nights in Jordan to see the ‟lost city” of Petra.
