Itinerary
Day 1 : Monday - Luxor
Depart the UK to Luxor. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your chosen Hotel (transfer time approx 30 minutes). Overnight in Luxor.
Day 2 : Valley of the Kings
Today cross over to the West Bank of the Nile for the first excursion, The Valley of the Kings. From here visit the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut. Afterwards there is a visit to the enormous statues of the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight Luxor.
Day 3 : Luxor Temples
Breakfast, start your tour to visit the Temple of Karnak - an enormous complex of three temples dedicated to the Theban Gods. Afterwards explore the magnificent Temple of Luxor which was once connected to the Karnak Temple by an avenue of sphinxes. Overnight Luxor
Day 4 : Nile Cruise Ship
The morning can be spent at leisure to roam Aswan some more or alternatively join the optional excursion to see more of the West bank. Accompanied by a guide, you will be taken to the Queens Valley, a place where wives of the pharaohs were buried in ancient times. It was also known as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning ‘the place of the children of the Pharaoh’. The valley is located near the Valley of the Kings. Here, along with the queens of the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties, many princes and princesses were also buried with members of the nobility. Further on, proceed to the Madinet Habu Temple: It is the funerary temple of King Ramesses II with military and religious motifs. The entire Temple of Ramses III, palace and town is enclosed within a defensive wall. Entry is through the High gate, or Migdol, which, in appearance resembles an Asiatic fort. Just inside the High gate, to the south, are the chapels of Amenirdis I, Shepenwepet II and Nitoket, wives of the god Amun. To the north side is the chapel of Amun. These chapels were a later addition dating to the 18th Dynasties, by Hatshepsut and Tutmose II. Close to the temple is the remains of a Nilometer. These 'flood warnings' were positioned strategically along the river to determine the position of the river every year. • Ramesseum: It is a funerary temple of King Ramesses II. On its walls is recorded the famous battle of Qadesh. Ramesseum built his fabulous mortuary temple on the site pf Seti I’s ruined temple where he identified himself with the local form of the god, Amun. The remains of the complex include a royal palace and a large number of mud-brick granaries and storerooms, as well as a small temple dedicated to Ramesses’ mother Tuya and wife Nefertari. • Deir El Madina: It is a community of workmen and their families, supervisors and foremen and their families, all dedicated to building the great tombs of the Egyptian kings. After exploring the archaeological sites, you will be dropped back to your hotel in Luxor for Overnight
Day 5 : Nile Cruise
Enjoy Sailing in the River Nile. Overnight on board
Day 6 : Edfu and Kom Ombo
Early morning visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. The cruise continues upstream to Kom Ombo where there is a late afternoon visit to the Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to the gods Haroeris and Sobek. Afterwards still sailing upstream the boat will arrive in Aswan where you will remain for two nights
Day 7 : Aswan tour, Felucca ride
Sightseeing includes a visit to the High Dam, the Old Granite Quarries, the Unfinished Obelisk and then by boat to the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island. After lunch board a Felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat for your included cruise down the Nile and around the picturesque Kitchener Island before returning for dinner
Day 8 : Lake Nasser Nile Cruise

Day 10 : Lake Nasser Nile Cruise
08:00 Visit WADI EL SEBOUA Temples. 10:30 Sail to AMADA. 16:00 Visit AMADA (Amada + Derr + Tomb of Pennut). 21:30 Nubian Show (by the Staff). Over Night at AMADA.
Day 11 : Abu Simbel - Lake Nasser Cruise
06:30 Sail to KASR IBRIM. 08:45 Over View Kasr Ibrim (15 Minutes for photos only From Sundeck). 12:15 Abu Simbel Temple Panorama (15 Minutes for photos Only from Sundeck). 12:30 Visit Abu Simbel Temple.20:00 Optional Visit to Sound & Light Show. Overnight at Abu Simbel.
Day 12 : Fly to Cairo
Check- out. Transfer to Abu Simbel airport for the flight to Cairo. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a stay of 3 nights.
Day 13 : Pyramids, Saqqara and Memphis tour
After breakfast meet your guide and driver to start your tour of Giza. Travel to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Next, we'll drive south to Saqqara, the step pyramids of King Zoser. Visit Memphis if time permits, and then drive back to your hotel.
Day 14 : Cairo City tour Egyptian museum, Citadel, Coptic Cairo and Khan El Khalili Old market
After breakfast, you'll start your tour in Cairo along the East Bank of the River. First we'll visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see the collection of King Tut. You have the option of seeing the royal mummy exhibit (admission not included).Then we'll visit the oldest part of Cairo where you can see the Hanging Church. From here we'll explore the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the oldest market in Cairo, and walk through Al Muiz Street. Back to your hotel
Day 15 : Departure
Morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for the return flight to the London Heathrow
