Itinerary
Day 1: Shiraz (No Meals)
Arrival Shiraz airport, meet and assist transfer to hotel, check in, Overnight in Shiraz
Day 2: Shiraz (B)
Half-day tour to visit Narenjestan Palace, Nasirol Molik Mosque and Eram Gardens. Overnight Shiraz.
Day 3: Shiraz/Persepolis (B)
Excursion to the wind swept ruins of Persepolis & Naghsh-e-Rostam, the tomb of the three powerful Achaemenian Kings carved into huge rocks. After lunch drive back to Shiraz. Visit the tomb of the Persian mystic poet Hafez. Overnight Shiraz.
Day 4: Shiraz/Isfahan (B)
Early morning drive to Isfahan. After lunch tour of Isfahan’s Royal square with its magnificent buildings; some of the greatest examples of Islamic architecture, including the Royal (Imam) Square, the Shah & Sheikh Lotf-Allah Mosques & Ali-Qapu Palace. On to the Bazaar spanning 5 kilometers. Overnight Isfahan
Day 5: Isfahan (B)
Full day tour of Isfahan. Visit Chehel Sotun (Forty Columns) and Hasht Behesht (Eighth Heaven) Palaces. On to Jolfa, Armenian quarters of the city, to see Vank Cathedral & the Shaking Minarets. In the evening visit a Zoorkhaneh (House of Strength) to watch this traditional Iranian sport; a combination of physical and spiritual aerobics, with participants chanting to the powerful drums of their master. Evening visit to the beautiful Si-o-Se & Khaju bridges. Overnight Isfahan.
Day 6: Isfahan/Tehran (B)
Free time to shop or explore the city. Afternoon drive to Tehran. Overnight Tehran.
Day 7: Tehran (B)
Tehran visit Sa’ad-abad Palace complex, one of the royal family and court’s former residences. Lunch at a traditional tea house. On to either the Crown Jewels or the Carpet & Archaeological museums. Overnight Tehran.
Day 8: Tehran (B)
Transfer to Tehran airport for your final departure
