Itinerary
Day
1: Arrival Cairo
Arrive at Cairo airport; assist
with passport control. Private transport to the hotel. Overnight Cairo
Day
2: Pyramids tour, Overnight Cairo (B)
Visit Sakkara to see the step
pyramid of Zosser. Move on to Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. Visit the
Sphinx, guarding a huge funeral complex.
Day
3: Flight to Luxor, overnight Cruise (B, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer to the
Cairo airport to fly to Luxor. Sit down for lunch before visiting Karnak Temple
and the Luxor Temple. Enjoy afternoon tea at 5:30 p.m., then a belly dancing
show followed by dinner. Overnight in Luxor.
Day
4: Nile Cruise (B, L, D)
Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride over the West bank
Early breakfast and a 7 am.
departure for the West Bank visit to the Valley of Kings. Sail to Esna, and eat
lunch 1 p.m. Afternoon tea at 5 p.m. Captain's welcome cocktail party at 7:30
p.m. followed by dinner and dancing. Overnight in Esna.
Day
5: Nile Cruise (B, L, D)
At noon go to visit Edfu Temple.
Lunch is at 2:30 p.m., then you'll sail to Kom Ombo. Afternoon tea is at 5
p.m., and dinner is at 8 p.m. followed by a Galabya party.
Day
6: Nile Cruise (B, L, D)
Visit Kom Ombo Temple, then sail
to Aswan. Lunch is at noon, then at 1:30 p.m. visit the High Dam, the Granite
Quarries, and the Temple of Philae. Dinner is at 7:30 p.m. followed by a
Nubian folkloric show.
Day
7: Flight to Cairo then connect to Amman (B)
Transfer to Aswan airport to fly
to Cairo. Connect to your Cairo/Amman flight, Upon arrival,
transfer to Amman Hotel for overnight.
Day
8: Amman city tour – Jerash (B)
Tour of Amman. Drive to the
North to visit the Greco-Roman city of Jerash. Overnight in Amman.
Day
9: Amman - Madaba - Mount Nebo – Kerak – Petra (B)
Visit Madaba, City of the
Mosaics. Go to Mount Nebo, the place where Moses was buried. Drive to Kerak,
via the King’s Highway. Overnight in Petra.
Day
10: Petra visit (B)
Pick up from your hotel in Petra
for a visit to the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra with a local
English-speaking guide for 2 hours. Petra is one of the 7 world wonders and a
UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which
is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and
formations of the rocks. The site is massive, and contains hundreds of
elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples,
sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. Upon completion, transfer to your
hotel in Petra for Overnight
Day
11: Petra – Wadi Rum – Dead Sea (B, D)
Pick up from your hotel in
Petra, head to explore Wadi Rum on a 1.30 hour jeep ride into the Jordanian
desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and
god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Upon completion, transfer
to your hotel at the Dead Sea for dinner & overnight. Overnight stay at the

12: Dead Sea – Queen Alia International Airport. (B)
Breakfast at Dead Sea hotel
& check out. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure
