Itinerary
Day 1: Tel Aviv Arrival
There will be a driver waiting to meet you at the Ben Gurion airport. He will drive you to your hotel in Jerusalem. Overnight hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 2: Jerusalem (B)
After breakfast, a driver will be waiting to take you to the Old City of Jerusalem where you will start touring with your guide. Start with a beautiful panoramic view of the Old City from the top of the Mount of Olives. Visit King David's Tomb on Mount Zion, the room of the Last Supper, and the Dormition Abbey. When entering the Old City, walk through the Armenian Quarter, and the Jewish Quarter to the Cardo. See the Western Wall and continue walking to the Christian Quarter. Stroll along the Via Dolorosa, following the Stations of the Cross, to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to the New City and tour Yad Vashem, the Museum that commemorates the Holocaust. Drive to the birthplace of John the Baptist, southwest of Jerusalem. Stop by Mary's spring and visit the Church of Saint John the Baptist. Return to hotel in Jerusalem for overnight.
Day 3: Dead Sea and Masada – overnight Jerusalem (B)
After breakfast, a driver will be waiting for you. a driver will take you to Masada, by way of the Judean hills. When arriving at Masada, enjoy a cable car ride up with your guide. Tour the remains of the walls, palace, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths, and the Roman barracks. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 4: Highlights of the Galilee - Overnight Nazareth (B)
Today is an early start. A driver will pick you up at 06:00 a.m. and take you to Nazareth. Tour the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Drive to Tiberius, the resort town on the Galilee. On the way to Capernaum, enjoy the drive along the Kineret. View the ruins of the ancient synagogue, where Jesus taught. At the foot of the Golan Heights visit the site of the Miracle of the Fish and Loaves. Stop at the Sea of Galilee, the Baptismal Site, where the Jordan River flows. Overnight in the Galilee.
Day 5: Caesarea, Acre, and Haifa, Cross the border to Amman, Overnight Amman (B)
From 07:20 a driver will take you to Caesarea. Tour the theater, the excavations, and the archeological ruins. We will stop at Megiddo national park, and learn about the history of the site, that was once a battlefield from Egyptian through Assyrian and Israeli times. Continue to Haifa to see the Baha'i Gardens and Shrine. Drive on to Acre, to tour the amazing Crusader City and the crypt. Cross the border to Amman, Overnight Amman.
Day 6: Amman – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Dead Sea – Petra (B)
Pick up from your hotel in Amman, head to visit Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6th century Mosaic map of Jerusalem & Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Proceed to Mt. Nebo, a city mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter. Then we head to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth for some free time at leisure at Amman Touristic Beach. Upon completion, transfer to your hotel in Petra for dinner & overnight. Overnight stay in Petra
Day 7: Petra – Petra Visit – Wadi Rum Jeep Ride – Amman (B)
Pick up from your hotel in Petra for a visit to the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra with a local English-speaking guide for 2 hours. Petra is one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive, and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. Now, head to explore Wadi Rum on a 1.30-hour jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Upon completion, transfer to your hotel in Amman for dinner & overnight. Overnight stay in Amman
Day 8: Amman City Tour - Flight To Cairo (B)
Start a 2-hour tour of the capital city of Jordan. Including the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel, the blue mosque and the Amphitheatre. Now onto Jerash for a 2-hour visit of the ancient Roman city with a local English-speaking guide. Transfer to Amman airport for evening flight to Cairo, arrival Cairo, meet and assist, and transfer to your hotel in Cairo for Overnight
Day 9: Pyramids, Egyptian museum and Mui’z Street tour (B)
After breakfast, it's time to enjoy our sightseeing journey. Visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx that large statue which is one of the most famous monuments in the whole world (Optional Camel ride for 20 - 30 minutes). then visit to the Egyptian Museum where you find the greatest Collections of Egyptian antiquities in the world and the Home of King TUT treasures. Traditional Egyptian Koshari Lunch meal at your own cost. P.M Visit Khan El-Khalili bazaar and a short walk at Muizz street, evening Optional Nile Dinner Cruise at Nile Maxim boat, with belly dance and Whirling Darwish, Overnight Cairo
Day 10: Flight to Luxor - West Bank tour (B)
After breakfast, Transfer to Cairo airport, flight to Luxor, Arrive Luxor in the morning, transfer to your hotel, and check in then start your tour cross the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, and the famous Valley of the Kings, where 64 of Egypt's Pharaohs had their tombs carved out of solid rock. The temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, built into the sheer Theban cliffs, As well as the Colossi of Memnon, back to the hotel and overnight in Luxor
Day 11: East Bank tour - Flight to Cairo (B)
Optional Hot air balloon over the West Bank, After breakfast, check out we will begin our tour in the enchanted Luxor, considered the greatest open-air museum in the world. Visit the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor; transfer to Luxor airport to catch your flight to Cairo, arrive, check into a hotel located near Cairo airport, and Overnight Cairo
Day 12: Departure (B)
After breakfast, Check out Transfer to Cairo airport for flight back home. Thank you for visiting Israel, Jordan and Egypt!
