Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco, following an Arrival to Marrakech Airport we will have a short drive to our joining hotel where we will stay for the night. If you arrive early try to explore the old medina with its narrow alleyways and its famous square Djamaa El fena. Overnight in Hotel  Start pointMarrakesh, Marrakech - Tensift - Al Haouz, Moroccomarrakesh airport

 

Day 2: Marrakech- Ait Benhaddou- Ouarzazate- Roses Valley- Dade Valley.

After breakfast, check out, This Morning we will start our journey crossing the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco and arrive at the old village of Ait Benhaddou, this village was a major stop for the caravans in the old days thus it become a UNESCO heritage site and as well it is used as background for many international movies such as Gladiators, prince of Persia and Game of throne. Not too far from this village situated Ouarzazate a city in the south of Morocco known as Hollywood of North Africa due to the number of movies that were made in its film studios. On the way to Boumalen Dades, where we will stay for the night, we pass by the Roses Valley, a beautiful and evergreen valley very famous for the Damaskina Roses and people hold a festival every year to celebrate the harvest. Overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 3: Dades valley- Toudra Gorge- Arfoud- Merzouga.

After breakfast we will head east towards the Sahara, en-­‐route we pass by the magnificent Toudra Gorges (Grand Canyon of Morocco) after lunch we will continue our journey to Erfoud. This city is very famous for fossils and fossilized Marble. In Rissani we will have a stop for lunch. Now it is time to get to the Sahara Desert where we will transfer to our camels and go for a ride on the sand dunes to get to the Berber camp for the night, if anyone can not ride a camel there is the possibility of getting a 4WD (extra cost) and drive to the camp. On your arrival at the camp, you have some free time before dinner. Overnight Desert experience camp or similar

 

Day 4: Merzouga - Fes

After breakfast and shower in the Berber camp, we will drive through the city Errachidia and the ZIZ valley that is very famous for Date palms. After that, we will cross the High and the Middle Atlas Mountains that separate the Sahara desert from the interior parts of the country. We will get then to Fes the oldest capital of Morocco where we will stay for the night. Overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 5: Fes

Today we take the guided tour of Fes. Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. Its medina, home to 400.000 inhabitants, with only donkeys and bikes as a means of transportation, is a heady mix of aromas, sights, and sounds. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit, but be aware that only Muslims can enter Mosques in Morocco. After exploring the dye-­‐pits, tanneries, pottery, and restaurants, we return to our hotel to freshen up for tonight, where we have the chance for a traditional meal and entertainment in the city with live Moroccan entertainment including traditional dancing, belly dancing, and magicians. Overnight in Hotel.Day 6: Fes - ChefchaouenAfter breakfast, we drive towards Chefchaouen (the blue city) which is a Morocco popular tourist attraction and welcoming town situated in the Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco. This nice blue city is known for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue-washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains.  We will have dinner in one of the local restaurants in the medina before returning back to our Hotel. Overnight in Hotel.Day 7: Chefchaouen- Rabat- CasablancaAfter Breakfast, we will travel south to the official capital of Morocco Rabat. On the arrival, we will have a guided tour to explore the highlights of Rabat including the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and Oudaya Kasbah. After this, we will continue our journey to arrive in Casablanca, the economic capital of morocco. Overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 8: Fly from Casablanca to Cairo - Arrival Cairo (B)

Transfer to the airport of Mohamed V in Casablanca to fly to Cairo, Arrive at Cairo airport; assistance with passport control. Private transport to the hotel. Overnight Cairo

 

Day 9: Giza – Pyramids tour – be ready at 07.15 AM to meet your tour guide, Overnight in Cairo (B)

After breakfast, then you will start the tour by visiting the awe-inspiring pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza plateau, visit the papyrus factory then head to visit the Egyptian museum, and finally to the open market (Khan El Khalili) the Bazaar with the numerous souvenirs shops and the coffee shops. back to your hotel, Overnight Cairo. (B)

 

Day 10: Flight to Aswan, Aswan Day tour - Nile cruise and overnight in Aswan (B, L, D)

After breakfast,  check out from your Cairo hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport, Flight to Aswan, upon arrival, start the day with a morning tour of the famous High Dam of Aswan. Next, you will visit the romantic Temple of Philae, visit a perfume place, transfer you to your Nile Cruise, lunch on board, dinner, and overnight on your 5-star standard Nile cruise. (B, L, D)

 

Day 11: Nile Cruise – Edfu Temple – Kom Ombo Temple – Overnight Nile cruise in Edfu (B, L, D)(Optional Early morning trip to Abu Simbel by road with breakfast box - without missing any part of the tour) After breakfast, free time then have lunch then enjoy sailing down the fertile bank of the Nile to visit Kom-Ombo Temples. Continue down the Nile to the city of Edfu, dinner, and overnight on your 5 stars standard Nile Cruise.

 

Day 12: Edfu temple - Nile Cruise to Luxor – Luxor temple - Overnight Nile cruise in Luxor (B, L, D)

Visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage back to the Nile cruise for breakfast, continue sailing to Luxor, lunch on board, we will cross Esna lock Arrive in Luxor about 05.00 PM and tour to the East Bank of Luxor. Here you will experience the historic Luxor temple, overnight on the Cruise. 

 

Day 13: Disembarkation – Luxor West bank – Karnak temple bus to Hurghada – Overnight in Hurghada (B, L, D)

(Optional early morning trip to Hot air balloon over the West bank with breakfast box and without missing any part of the tour) After breakfast, Disembarkation tour the West Bank of Luxor. Start your tour off with the great Colossi of Memnon the last remains of Amenophis III's temple.  Then the world-famous Valley of the Kings, stop at the Alabaster factory and finish on to the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir al-Bahri), then have lunch at a local restaurant Then you will take your A/C bus to Hurghada for about 4 hours, overnight at the Red Sea, in Hurghada.

 

Day 14: Hurghada Red Sea – Overnight in Hurghada (B, L, D)(Optional morning full day trip to Giftun Island for snorkeling – fishing and includes lunch) 

After breakfast, this is another day free to be spent as you see fit. With snorkeling, swimming, sun-tanning, scuba diving, and good food and drink available you will find much to do; or nothing to do but enjoy the sun, overnight at your hotel in Hurghada.

 

Day 15: Bus to Cairo – Overnight in Cairo (B)

(Optional morning trip Sea scope short time of snorkeling – watching the Corel reef and colored fish through the windows of the submarine) After breakfast, free time, check out then have Lunch then a bus from Hurghada to Cairo for about 5 hours. Arrive in Cairo, overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

 

Day 16: Flight from Cairo to Amman, Arrival Amman, Overnight (B)

Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport where you will be met by our representative to help you through formalities then transfer to Amman hotel overnight. Overnight stay in Amman 

 

Day 17: Amman/Petra (B, L)

Drive (2½ hour) to Petra for a 2 ½ hour guided tour, Enter the city via the Siq and see the Treasury and lower part of the city. Then free time to explore, maybe the Monastery "Ad Deir" (900 steps). , Overnight at your hotel in Petra. 

 

Day 18: Petra/Wadi Rum (B, D)

After breakfast walk into Petra for an independent visit. Maybe climb up to the place of High Sacrifice. then drive south (2 hour ) for a two hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum, also known as The Valley of the Moon, which is a spectacular valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south Jordan. Watch the sunset and enjoy supper in the desert under the stars (weather permitting). Bedioun dinner, and Overnight in a Bedioun Tent 

 

Day 19: Wadi Rum/Dead Sea (B)

Breakfast at your hotel then descend to the Dead Sea (3 hours), the lowest point on earth where you can float in the Dead Sea waters. Overnight at the hotel in the Dead Sea 

 

Day 20: Dead Sea/Jerash tour / Madaba/Mt Nebo/Amman (B)

After breakfast, check out then drive to visit Jerash (1-hour drive), the largest and most well-preserved site of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy for a 2 hour private guided tour Afterward head to Mt Nebo (40 min drive) where Moses viewed the Holy Land and onto Madaba (15 min drive) to visit St George church to admire the Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy land. Drive back to Amman (1-hour drive), Overnight at the hotel in Amman. (B)

 

Day 21: Amman to QAIA for departure (B)

After breakfast, check out, drive to QAIA for departure and the end of the tour.
