Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo (No Meals)
Arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you. From the airport you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel and overnight in Cairo. Overnight: Cairo
Day 2: Pyramids tour (B, L)
Breakfast. Visit the great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx - a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. Optional Camel ride, Lunch at Local restaurant, Then onwards to Sakkara to see the first pyramid ever built - the step pyramid of Zosser. Overnight Cairo.
Day 3: Cairo City tour (B, L)
After breakfast, At 0900 am, a tour to visit the Egyptian Museum which contains the fabulous treasures of Tut-Ankamon specially the solid golden masque and the golden coffer then proceed to the old city of Cairo to visit the Hanging church, Lunch at Local restaurant, then proceed to visit the citadel of Saladin and Mohamed Ali mosque in the late afternoon visit to the famous Khan El Khalili market and Muizz street. Day 4: Flight to Luxor - East bank- Cruise (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out transfer to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Luxor, arrival transfer to your cruise ship, and visit The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor, Back to Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight in Luxor. Overnight: Nile cruise / Luxor
Day 5: Luxor West bank Cruise to Edfu (B, L, D)
After breakfast, cross the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, and the famous Valley of the Kings, where 64 of Egypt's Pharaohs had their tombs carved out of solid rock. The temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, built into the sheer Theban cliffs, As well as the Colossi of Memnon. Back to Lunch, Sail to Edfu, Dinner overnight in Edfu. Overnight: Nile cruise / Edfu
Day 6: Cruise to Kom Ombo & Aswan (B, L, D)
After breakfast, and visit the temple of Horus, the Nile best preserved temple, Cruise to Kom Ombo, visit the temple shared by two Gods Sobek, the crocodile God of fertility, and Haroeris, the hawk headed god of the Underworld. Back to Lunch. Sail to Aswan. Dinner and overnight in Aswan. Overnight: Nile cruise / Aswan (B, L, D)
Day 7: Aswan, Philae temple & High Dam, Cruise (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit the High Dam and the temple of Philae. Back to Lunch, View of Elephantine Island by felucca (sailing boat) and view The Agha Khan Mausoleum, dinner and overnight in Aswan. Overnight: Nile cruise / Aswan
Day 8: (Abu Simbel option) - island felucca trip - Flight to Amman, Overnight Amman (B)
After breakfast, Disembarkation, (Optional trip to visit Abu Simbel temples by road or by flight).
Transfer to Aswan airport to fly to Cairo then connect to Amman Plane (1.00 hour) Plane (1.25 hour)., upon landing, you will meet our Jordanian rep at the Amman airport who will assist with immigration and visas. Transfer to the hotel, Overnight Amman
Day 9: Amman/Jerash/Dead Sea/Amman (B)
Set off on a half-day trip to Jerash, a fascinating site and one of the largest and most well-preserved Roman ruins outside Italy. Continue to the Dead Sea. Known for its high salinity, opt to bob like a cork in the healing waters. Relax on the shores or cover yourself in therapeutic mud, Overnight Amman
Day 10: Amman/Karak/Petra (B)
Depart early for the first stop, Mt Nebo. Learn the ancient history of this spot and check out the views. Continue on to Madaba to see the famous Byzantine mosaics, dating back to the sixth century. After, visit Karak Castle, built during the Crusades. Arrive in the early evening to Wadi Musa, the town just outside Petra.
Day 11: Petra (B, D)
The site is large so please be prepared for a lot of walking over sand and rocks for the entire day. Pace yourself, stay hydrated and be sure to have proper walking/hiking shoes. Included Activities: Petra Guided Tour, Dinner at Petra Kitchen
Day 12: Petra/Wadi Rum (B, D)
Drive to Wadi Rum, a vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds and the largest and most magnificent of Jordan's desert landscapes. Head deep into the desert by 4x4 stopping at famous landmarks along the way. Arrive to the tented camp in time for a traditional meal and learn more about this ancient culture. There is a large, central tent that is traditionally decorated and perfect for relaxing or escaping the cold nights in winter. Our dinner is prepared in traditional fashion, with the meat and vegetables cooked in an underground oven. Soft drinks and water are available for purchase. Lanterns light the way, but we do suggest you bring a flashlight. Additional Notes: Accommodation in the desert is in a private tent
For religious reasons, it might be no alcohol is permitted at the camp.
Day 13: Wadi Rum/Aqaba (B)
Drive to the Red Sea resort city of Aqaba. Enjoy free time to enjoy the beach, go snorkeling, or check out the city.
Day 14: Aqaba/Amman (B)
The morning is flexible. Spend a little more time at the beach or head back early. Reach Amman by way of the Desert Highway. Enjoy a final night out in the city
Day 15: Amman/Jerusalem (B)
Cross the border into Israel and make your way to Jerusalem. Take a free night to explore. , dinner and Overnight
Day 16: Jerusalem (B)
Explore the old city of Jerusalem, walking through the Muslim and Jewish quarters. Visit the Western Wall and walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Holy Sepulcher Church. Enjoy the afternoon free to explore on our own.
Day 17: Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Dead Sea/Jericho
Travel to biblical Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity before heading to Masada and visit the famous rock fortress on a guided tour with our CEO. Opt to hike (or ride) to the top and learn more about this ancient place. Continue to the fascinating Dead Sea. Cover yourself in the healing mud, bob like a cork in very salty water, or enjoy a little sunbathing on the shore. Spend the night in Jericho
Day 18: Jericho/Galilee (B, D)
Tour the Sea of Galilee area, including the Church of Transfiguration and the ruins of Capernaum. Also visit a local Kibbutz to learn about this interesting communal lifestyle
Day 19: Galilee/Nazareth (B)
Travel to Nazareth where we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, one of the largest churches in the Middle East.
Day 20: Nazareth/Tel Aviv (B)
Visit a Druze community for a local lunch. Continue to Akko and explore its colorful markets and old city before continuing to vibrant Tel Aviv. Enjoy an orientation walk in historic Jaffa. Tour Tel Aviv Orientation Drive and Jaffa Port Tour
Day 21: Tel Aviv (B)
Depart at any time. Additional Notes: With so much to do and see in Tel Aviv, we highly recommend booking post nights to fully enjoy all that the city has to offer.
